    I got a 1998 Chevy K1500 with the 5.7L vortec and I am wanting to swap it to a 7.4L vortec out of a 1998 k2500 suburban. What all do I need to get off of the suburban to make this swap?

    Swapping torsion bars from a v6 truck

    I have 1998 k1500 with 5.7L and I am replacing the torsion bars. I found some at a local junk yard but they are off of a 1996 truck with a 4.3L V6. Would a a V6 truck have lighter duty torsion bars?
