Turbo Charging Cali Truck
I just put a 5.3 out of a 2005 Suburban into my 90' C 1500 pick-up truck. I was wondering if I was to turbo charge it, would the turbo cause me any problems at the smog station. 700R4 to 4L80E
Im doing a swap. I have a 90' Chevy truck with the 5.7 that came from the factory with the 700R4. I got a good deal on a 2001 5.7 LS1 out of a Corvette. I couldn't use the trans out of the Corvette so I want to bolt up a 4l80E in place of the 700R4. My question is... Does it matter what year or...- thewedge

2001 Corvette rear end swap
I found a great deal on a 2001 Corvette rear end. I want to put it into my 1990 Silverado. The problem I have is that the rear ends in 2001 Corvettes are attached to the transmission.
