    any1 got pics of their exhaust setup ? my 89 swb has duals but does a 90 degree at the gas tank and crosses under drive shaft. i really don't like it but only alternative i see is relocate the gas tank. wanting a quiet exhaust setup. any ideas ?

    my 89's door panels are getting a litte ratty and i want to put some later model panels on. what years work on an 89 door ? i have power windows. really like the ones that have the speakers at lower front of panel but not sure what years have them or if they'll fit my truck.

    just wanting a driveable, good sounding truck. it's already setup "old school" and i'd like to keep it simple. i know with a "peanut port" 454 there's only so much you can do to it.

    just using parts i got, truck is already carbed and wouldn't think of using a wore out tbi thats 23 years old. and the word wasn't "losing mpg" it was "killing" mpg. the thread was cam suggestions and obviously you have none but thanks any way.

    got an SS454 clone, motor in it is knocking. i have a 87 burb w/454 tbi bone stock. gonna use the burb engine in the SS clone. truck is 5 speed with stock gears in rear, was told it turned very few rpm's in 5th gear at speed limit. mods for burb 454 will be single plane aluminum intake...

    newbie here, just traded for a 89 SS clone. never liked the early instrument/ dash, what year is the easiest swap or is there some after market instrument panels that are cool ? everything is old school far as electronics goes (no computer:carbed) so after market gauges would work, any1 got any...

    just traded for this. original was a 4.3 w/5speed. now a SS clone with 454 and 5 speed. plan on painting black and updating interior w/charcoal grey and a milder 454.
