Stock 454SS- need exhaust- want loud- what do I need to buy?

To put a glasspack (basically a straight pipe with some muffling) on the exhaust system and then remove the muffling seems foolish, especially when you can just run no muffler for the same effect. I agree with jorge6.5- i would run that setup using 2.75" tubing, Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    98 Z71 for $1500?

For the record if you ever see a 631 area code- thats my neck of the woods. And my dad recently picked up a 98 burb, for 200! The back half is rusty as hell, but the interior is mint - only 158k miles. 4x4, 5.7, power windows/locks, etc Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Thanksgiving luck

Im only think that the starter being warm for 10 hours at a time is what is hurting it, i realize if i had manifold it would keep the heat by the starter down. So the only reason the trip is hurting it (besides vibrating loose) would be the added heat from the headers Sent from my iPhone using...

Hey ya'll, happy Thanks Giving, hope your enjoying it. Im home from college for the week, and the frequent 400 mile trip to or from school seems to be taking its toll on my starter, coupled with the wet, cold weather of course. My dads truck wont start at all today, and my truck clicked twice...

5 or 6 speed auto transmission Conversion?

Might be cheaper to regear to lower your rpms at 80- like drop down to 3.73s. First and second gear will suffer slightly but then you just add more power to compensate

On a standard cab short bed will 2 in shackles retain a good enough pinion angle to get away without shims and daily driving
  21. dangileri

    No lift and 31s

My standard cab short bed 2wd 5.0 has 31x10.5s- they only rub on the sway bar at full lock if i hit a bump or crevis in the road

    Cowl hood- yes or no?

So ive been debating over getting a cowl hood. I like the look, but always belived it should be saved for a vehicle that has an engine to back it up. I have a 305- in the end of the day the truck isnt a real screamer but its quick enough for me for now. Does anyone thing the hood will look good...
