Best way to remove 20 years of grime on door pulls?

"Goof Off Heavy Duty" works well for removing ground-in, dirt & grime. Don't confuse it with "Goo Gone" or other variants of "Goof Off" -- they contain solvents which might damage some plastics & soft materials. With any bew cleaner, try it first in a concealed location.

    88-98 Bucket seat alternatives

hmm -- do 60/40/flipdown/armrest seats, from GMT800 ext cabs, readily install and bolt to the older GMT400 risers? Salvaged GMT800 seats , being newer, are more plentiful and in generally better condition. I dont mind paying a bit more to avoid the expense of re-upholstering. Harder to...

    88-98 Bucket seat alternatives

Thx, ccreddell, I'll start my searching with that series of models. This might be of interest to others on this thread -- RPO codes for the 1987-2005 Bonnevilles. Might help in identifying the seats of your choice. http://www.pontiacbonnevilleclub.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=39&t=793

    88-98 Bucket seat alternatives

I'd love to install this type of seating pictured below, into my 1994 K1500 Blazer. Right now, I have a manual 60/40 bench -- the "60" is on the passenger side, the driver side is "40", and there is no flip-down armrest/console. What types of vehicle are seats below found in? Does that...

Multifunction Lever Wiring - correct routing on '94 ?

OK, got it figured out using that 69-page guide! :-) Very helpful resource, as it has a lot of similarity to 1994 & earlier GMT400 trucks. Reinstalling the plastic "follower" for the hi beam pushrod was perhaps the trickiest part, bt not too bad, about 5 minutes of fumbling. Install...

Multifunction Lever Wiring - correct routing on '94 ?

Well, I found a 69 page instruction guide to rebuilding a mid-1980s GM tilt column, with dozens of pictures. There seems to be a lot of similarity to the 1994 and earlier truck steering columns, so I'll see if it helps me...

Multifunction Lever Wiring - correct routing on '94 ?

Recently I had a local independent repair shop do some work on the steering column of my 1994 Chevy K1500 Blazer. I also gave them a new GM Multifunction Lever to install. I am pretty sure they messed up the lever install. In the picture below is a photo of the left side of my steering...
