horn problems
my horn when it is plugged in will honk without pushing the "horn" on the steering wheel...fuses are good...is there something other than rewiring that could fix this...- jshawag12

annoying squeak!!!! suggestions??? driver's front side
alright so my truck has some clangs everyonce in a while on serious bumps..pretty normal but just two days ago i was driving out in the pasture filling my deer feeders...nothing off road at all just some dirt roads and grass...well i start to hear a squeeaaak or a "rih rih rih rih when i go...- jshawag12

Question about overhead center consoles....
i'm thinking of buying one from noremac and just had a question about it which was asked in another thread but never answered... anyone that has mounted one did you cut it out or can you just mount it on the headliner? pictures would be nice....is it easier to do for an extended cab?- jshawag12

got a wobble....need help figuring out what it is....
alright started about 2 days ago...when i am driving...and you really cant feel it till you get about 45 or 50 since my shocks are shot....you can feel it in the steering wheel but it feels like the driver side tire is wobbling....what could cause this? ball joints? unbalanced tire? i havent...- jshawag12

OIL PRESSURE question
when i start my truck up pressure gauge goes up to 60, then when it gets warmed up and i'm driving it hovers at 40 but when i'm idling it drops down to around 20-25.... what could be causing this? is it a faulty gauge or something else? anyone had this problem? '97 5.7 178k miles TIA!- jshawag12

i'm not much of a mechanic other than the easy stuff...but i had some questions when my engine says good bye i've got a 97 z71 1500 5.7 1. can i put an engine from a 2500 in there? 2. if yes to # 1 is it basically the same 3. what makes a truck able to tow more? the transmission...- jshawag12

howdy, i've been here for a bit over a week and made some post but this is my official introduction i guess got a 97 z71 chevy...all stock for now but i'm gonna put fix her up "one piece at a time and it will cost me more than a dime" i'm about to put a new starter on this weekend...- jshawag12
