Heavy Camper Question

Thanks, Supercharged. I appreciate it. You win, by the way. I am looking at a Lance but dry weight is just over 4200 lbs, a 2008 1180-11'6". I've never seen a truck camper with so much storage and with a 48 gallon fresh water tank, I'm thinking dry camping for a week or so is doable.

My question is not exactly towing but it seems like the right place - has anyone ever put one of these newer 5k lbs slide-in truck campers in the bed of a one ton dually? I know it's over the recommended weight limit and I know I'm looking at airbags. If it's a dumb idea, call me out. I'm not...

Another update: The rapid flash SES light had something to do with the scanner being plugged in and not powered up when starting. I ended up taking the truck on a 1700 mile road trip. The SES light came on only once and that was on a cold morning on a cold start. She ran great otherwise and...

Quick update: The O2 sensor is a single wire. I did find chafed insulation on the O2 harness where it runs over the top of the transmission. It's possible it was grounding out. That has been repaired. I don't have the proper tool to remove the O2 sensor and crosscounts are back up to ~20 now so...

Yes, regarding the closed loop. Yesterday was the first day I had driven the truck with the scanner hooked up. It really didn't stay in closed loop until the return leg of a ~16 minute round trip.
