    Yeah,HEI fires like the hammer of Thor. If you ever want to see something cool pull all the wires and coil cover off and turn the motor over. Blue Oyster Cult's got nothing on that light show.

    Not starting after doing a De-Carb on engine

    Probably glazed the plugs. Pull all the plugs. Remove the coil wire from the dist. cap and ground it. Remove the injector wires. Hold the throttle to the floor and crank it for about ten seconds to dry the intake and cylinders. Install new plugs and hook everything back up. Should fire right up!

    That doesn't sound like a transmission problem,sounds like an engine problem. First thing I would be checking would be a clogged catalytic convertor, the second would would be fuel pressure. Just because a fuel pump is new doesn't mean it's any good.

    More precisely you want it to drop into the next gear at the peak of the torque range so it's pulling hard as soon as it shifts.

    What ECM do you have now? You will need a ECM for 93-95 for it to have outputs the a -E tranny.

    After doing a little research it looks like you will have to use a stand alone trans controller if your going to run the EBL. The Motortronic Cobra R6 has emulation and can be used with PCM's that have trans control such as the 16197427. But,,,,,,,,,,I just checked that out and he's OOS.

    If your PCM had 4L60-E control it should still have it with the EBL.

    The Chevron I switched to does have the Top Tier sticker on their pump nozzles. I know my truck is running better and my MPG has gone up.
