    yeah, still alive, barely. I am at tahoeyukonforum most of the time. I need to spend some more time here since a lot of the forums are all newer trucks and we have become the ******* step-children. this place has really grown!

    mine seems to be fine. I hear it is a rather common issue for the stock spiders to go. I've owned my tahoe for 12 years now and never had a problem. Is it more due to the Ethanol in the fuel these days?

    awsome, thanks for the quick repsonses. Chris, you have a PM. I had a set up until about a year ago, I got tired of looking at them and tossed them. Then I bought this susburban and the TYCs were already on there....with broken adjusters.

    So, I think I have a problem

    I just did my suburban. I noticed it during a low speed turn, about 20 and under the wheel felt loose like I hit ice. My tahoe did it years ago at 55+ the wheel would go loose. It;s an easy thing to replace if you need to.

    Someone correct me if I am wrong but: Doesn't the rough ride truly come from either the shocks be over extended or the lack of suspension travel when cranked up too close to the droop stops? Twisting the torsion bars doesn't really change the spring rate on them, just loads them up a little...
