Picked up this truck about 4 months ago its a 97 chevy fully loaded had duals and pro comps when i bought it other then that she was totally stock, since then i replaced the rotted out cherry bombs with stainless magnaflows and put 4" tips out the back put on a cold air intake clear headlights...

I dont know they werent new when i got them. Little update i had the truck on the road for about a week it had nbs 17s but we got hit with a snowstorm and i blew the motor in my driveway :( but i picked up a 97 gmc stepside with a mint frame and lots of good parts so ive been thinking about...

need advice on gear ratios for towing with 89 GMC 2500

if it were my truck i would go with a 4:10 ratio mainly because the 4:56 is a little low when u hit highway speeds. a 4:10 ratio will give you a little more low end pull, and shell take the hills better. Check out the ultimate TBI mods. My girlfriends dad used to haul a 7500lb camper behind his...
