    I've been thinking about cutting my muffler off and putting true dual straight pipes with no mufflers on my 97 Vortec 350. Will this cause a loss in horsepower because of a decrease in back pressure? or will there be a loss in power at all for any reason?

    I just bought a 97 Silverado 1/2 ton Z71 and it has a 14 bolt rear end. The guy I bought it from didnt say anything about it. So my questions are did some half tons come stock with 14 bolt rear ends and if it was stock did that most likely come with a 4L60E or could it have came with a 4L80E?

    Southern Pride, your killin me I wish i had a DC but im a college student and im broke as hell as of now.... 98chevy4x4 do the cepek i have never heard one bad thing about it.. i mean Southern Prides Truck = Sweat Pant Boners lol
