Okay thanks so all 88-98 k1500 frames are the same? What if I wanted to go 2wd do the c1500 and k1500 body panels swap over directly? I'll let you know when I do it magimerlin. I was going to take it to a frame specialist but it would in my case be more cost effective to do a full swap. I've...

I recently wrecked my 94 k1500 ecsb and bent the frame horns and the frame right behind the drivers side control arm. I was wondering what model trucks have the same body mounts as the ecsb and if they changed the frame at all between 88-98. I'm searching my local CL ads to find a parts truck to...

Thanks I'm already putting together a huge list of things I want to do to it. I don't know too much about them either but it's had a HD hood shaved down to fit.

I don't need any headlights after all. The body shop called a few days ago and told me the frame is bent right behind the front drivers wheel. It's a real bummer I've had the truck for 11 years since I was 15. Thanks for your help guys, on to the next project. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What happened to TYC's Elegante line? From what I remember everyone and their brother with HIDs were buying them up. I'll keep on my search. Does anyone have experience with APC? I found these on amazon. They have some reviews saying they fit terrible while others say they are great...

yes exactly, they cover the front of the bulb to reduce glare. I'd like to match as close as i can to what I have now. They have been the best set I've had on the truck.

I recently got into a accident which damaged my TYC Elegante Headlights. I tried getting another pair but it looks like they have been discontinued. Is there any quality headlights out there with the cone shaped reflector in the low beam? Thanks -Richard

Lowered 4wds?

Here's my 4x4 I lowered 5/8. It's been driven daily for over 10 years this low without any problems with the drivetrain.

Here's a recent picture of mine lowered 5/8. I haven't had any problems with the cv's since 2005 when i lowered it. I did have to replace the upper and lower ball joints with the HD MOOG ball joints because of the angle. They are still going strong though.

Third Brake light only works with interior lights

no i mean the brake light in the third brake light, the cargo lights work on their own switch. Its the guage dimmer switch, i turn on the interior lights and the third brake light works

Third Brake light only works with interior lights

I have a weird problem with my 94 k1500 ecsb and the third brake light only works when the dome light switch is on. I tryed tracing the wires from the third brake light as far as i could and didnt see anything out of ordinary. Any ideas where i can start?
