    on cold start I get a pretty noticable ticking. what I find weird it that when I put it in drive or reverse and accelerate, the ticking picks up. but it also ticks when I apply pressure to the brakes. if I rev it past 2800rpm the tick goes away. did anyone have an idea of what this could be...

    Mounting pads/supports for stepside.

    I'm having a hell of a time finding the stamped steel pads/supports that ho on the underside of the stepside bed. What's everyone doing to replace these? Or making your own?

    Shorty headers for lowered 4x4

    Since I've got my inner and outer fenders off I've decided to ditch the old truck manifolds and grab a full new exhaust. Who has run shorty headers with out fitment issues? And which brand? While I'm at it im ditching the cat. This is a 94 k1500 5.7

    Anyone ever fill the body line on the boxside? I know I've seen the tie downs filled in. I'm just curious if it would crack down the road?

    Fuel line replacement!

    Ive got my new fuel tank mounted in truck, pump and filter waiting to be hooked up. I'm jus curious if any of you have replaced the whole length of return and supply lines back to the fuel pump? What should I look out for? Tips and hints are wonderful! Brand/price? Would you recommend a shop or diy?

    Thoughts on front suspension rebuilds for 4x4 lowered

    Curious what people have to say about rebuilding the front suspension on a 3/5 lowered 4x4. Most everything that's not painted will be getting replaced including bushings. Looking to place an order and would like to spend my money wisely.

    3" drop keys and new torsion bar crossmember!

    I received my drop keys and a used torsion bar crossmember and key removal tool. The old crossmember is rusted out. Anyone know if I can just hack out the old one to get the torsion bars out? And anyone know the part name of the mount to the frame? Didn't find much..

    Middle of a box of restoration and its time to choose what to run for fuel lines. So far I've got a brand new tank and fuel pump(advanced auto) and filter. Will eventually be a mild build and I'm open to suggestions. Anyone have thoughts on braided?

    Front leaf spring hanger not fitting!!

    U bolt to leaf spring help!!

    Decided to replace the u bolts on my axle and I measured them to be 9/16 rod by 2 5/8 inside width by 9.5 inches long. I called lmc truck to replace them but they say specs are a 1/2 inch rod. Anyone about to shed some input? 4wd truck here btw

    Crossmember replacement!!

    Is anyone familiar with replacing the crossmember right behind the bed of a 1994 stepside 4x4 between the frames? It's the one right over the back half of the gas tank. Amidst sandblasting and cleaning the frame for paint I found a hole in the passenger side and need to replace it asap.

    Help! 4x4 lowered front end!

    Before I bought this 94 stepside single cab 4x4 I figured lowering a 4x4 wasn't a tough thing to do. Now that I have it and the box off for painting the frame people are saying that lowering the 4wd is difficult. Anyone with any information would be very much appreciated thanks in advance!!!

    Frame rust removal and painting to do's and what not to do.

    Got the box off the truck today with the help of a friend. Much heavier then I expectex! Gonna descale and clean up as much as possible before I blast it. I've never done any restoration before so chime in if you have input!!!!!!
