dual battery questions
I have a 97 C3500 with the aux battery setup. Will a bad aux battery affect the starting battery in any way? I had to jump start my truck last night. This morning my volt meter read 12.4 on both the starting battery and the aux. Was reading about 12.9-13v running. The aux battery smells...- crunky944

dually tire sizes?
Wasn't sure of the best place to post this... I have a 97 C3500, bone stock. Currently running stock size 225/75/16 and wanting to go up to 265/75/16. I know I'll need a spacer in the rear, but wondering if I'll have any rubbing issues up front at stock height? I've seen a couple of places...- crunky944

7.4 vortec intake manifold gasket replacement
Getting ready to do the lower intake manifold gasket on my 97 big block. Haven't been able to find much info on here, everything I find is for small blocks. Must haves for in-truck toolkit
What are some items you guys would consider "must haves" for your tool kits you keep in your truck? You know, things that would be required for roadside repairs of common issues on these trucks... For example, in my 7.3 IDI Ford I made damn sure to keep a couple of 5/8" open end or line wrenches...- crunky944

Crank relearn required on pre-98 trucks?
I sent an Ebay seller a message asking about their PCMs, and they claim that my 1997 C3500 7.4 does not require a crankshaft relearn procedure after swapping PCMs. They say that only started in 1998, is this true?- crunky944

97 c3500 drw getting ready to do rear brakes
Hey guys, new member here. This is my first GM full-size truck... I love it so far! My last 3 full size trucks were an 83 f350, a 94 f250 and a 94 f150 in that order.
