    Looks like I have it right.Thanks for posting that!I did find where I guess I installed tank and got the harness wires in between tank and the brace,there isn't any exposed wires but they were squished pretty good.Guess they could be damaged in the insulation?

    update** Installed the new pump,i also checked voltage at pump and with key on it was only 5v..I need to check it right when i turn the key on,maybe (im hoping) it supplies 12v for 2 seconds???Also ,new pump is exactly same pressure idling,52psi,raises to 58psi when revved..I thought these were...

    I found a crack on the bottom of the housing ,i know i didnt do it on the install so i mustve missed it on the install..I wonder if this has any affect on the pressure??Hmmm,sending it back to rock auto..

    Thats exactly what i have been doing,ill do that 2 or 3 times and it seems to help,itll eventually start.I can hear the relay click on and tgen off as the pump primes,the pump is very quiet.The original was loud i could hear it from across tge street..
