cutting catalytic coverter ?

I have a 95 Cheyenne 2500 thinking about cutting converter to help power and sound. I ve heard so many different opinions a lot of saying check engine light coming on, loss of power and engine backfiring. just curious what u guys think> Thankyou

I have a 95 Cheyenne 2500 2wd, I've been on this clutch replacement project for a month now and am baffled. I replaced flywheel ,pilot bearing , clutch disc, pressure plate, throw-out bearing , clutch fork, pivot ball, slave and slave master and still clutch will not shift, it will when not...
