ECM question...

Just bought a 96 Z71 not running. Seller claimed it just needed the new ECM flashed and new starter. I did the starter and after 5 minutes of cranking, she fired. Runs great at idle but rough when giving it gas. I guess they call this the safe mode. Tried driving around the block and...

New here from central Texas

Thanks for having me. I'm a big Camaro/Firebird fan but I've wanted a 88-98 style C1500 for a while. So last week I traded a 91 Trans Am for a 96 Z71. You will see me posting lots of questions because it's not running right. I hope I didn't get screwed.
