Test front axles ?

I'm getting some clicking/popping on the drivers side while in 4x4 turning.Is there a way to test the axle?The boot looks good and it doesn't do it in 2wd.Can anyone explain to me how the 2wd and 4wd axles/hubs work on my 92.Thanks.

Help with 4x4

I got my 4x4 working again but now I hear drivers side popping in 4 wheel drive when turning.It doesn't do it in 2wd.It doesn't pop in 4wd going strait.Cv axles look good and the boots are not ripped.Any ideas?

My 1990 k1500 has a new crate tranny and crate motor I installed.I kept the old transfer case with a posi lok.I just put in the tranny and now my 4x4 light doesn't come one and I know the posi lok is working.I even removed it and pushed inside were the posi lok goes and the 4x4 light doesn't...

Help with 700r4

My 1990 k1500 5.7 truck has some issues with the 700r4.Great truck with a new crate motor I swapped in last summer but the 700r4 has 189k on it.First issue has been happening for a year or so.Sometimes the tranny spits out fluid through the dipstick hole when full.No I didn't over fill it.So...
