Help with 4x4

I got my 4x4 working again but now I hear drivers side popping in 4 wheel drive when turning.It doesn't do it in 2wd.It doesn't pop in 4wd going strait.Cv axles look good and the boots are not ripped.Any ideas?

It could be the thermo actuator not fully engaging. South Main Auto has a video on it but it was with an S10 and they use a vacuum motor to engage the axle.
