    If you're talking about a snap ring, those are only installed in full loops, not two piece yokes. Without the yoke being a full circle, you can't install a snap ring.

    Also just took a look at what may or may not control the EGR valve. Again, Haynes only gives a little info. I pull vacuum, and it hums. I can't find a vacuum diagram in the manual, so I cannot say for sure if any part of the vacuum system is routed properly.
