    Thanks for the replies! I have about 150 miles on the joint and I'm going to pull the shaft and check the action of the joint. Haven't had an issue with it so far. It's quiet and smooth.

    Replaced steering box and pump on my 99 k1500 OBS at the same time. After it was complete, I had no power steering. Both parts were reman. I can see the fluid in the pump circulating as if its pumping. Was hoping it was air-locked. Had it running with the pwr steering pump cap off 10-15 mins...
