I came across this site while looking for information on a truck I just bought. This is a great site with plenty of information and helpful members. I have a 99 GMC K1500 old body style. This is the body style transition year. I am assuming it would fall under the same category as 88-98. Can anyone confirm this? I hope so because this site is full of information!

Welcome to the site! I haven't seen many 99 "classics", especially for a 1500. Please post up some pictures if you get a chance, I'd love to see it.

Welcome to the site. You have what's known as a 1999 Classic. That's generally what they call vehicles from the year of a new body release that are the old body style, probably to run out parts stock at assembly.
