    I have only had the modules just cause it to die at a stop but be able to restart imediatly. If you try a cheap module I would buy two. They are easy to change out.

    -40 weight oils are allowed to have higher zinc like less than the -30 or -20 grades. There is still zinc in the lighter ones. If you have a stock valve train that is broken in you don't need to worry about zinc.

    What does that have to do with it? If you want loud get a pair on turn up headers and come out the hood.

    Mine has the raspy sound without the cat and just a stock style muffler and tail pipe. That is just at idle though and it isn't to terribly loud. I haven't heard what it sounds like when I am not in the vehicle.

    I would say you have a coolant leak internally but that bad you would notice I would think. You probably need to replace the O2 sensor also. If the plugs look that bad the O2 isn't going to be much better. What year and motor is it?

    Synthetic is of little use to our vehicles unless you are wanting to go longer on an oil change. Today's conventionals changed at the proper intervals are more than satisfactory for our vehicles for the most part. A used oil analysis is the best way to determine if your oil is doing its job.

    I did a 200 mile trip and it got 12.5mpg. I gotta do a 250 mile trip Friday but now have the o2 and manifold replaced so we will see what that gets. I can tell though that running 70 eats the gas though.
