Whipple Super charger

I have a line on a whipple for 5.7 vortec. Asking price is $600.00 down from $800.00 I would maybe pay $500.00. I have a a 1998 K1500 178,000 miles. What are the thoughts about this? Should it be sent off for refurb? Should I install on my original motor or rebuild? I have not bought it or have...

Look at my oil leak.

I need to get this on video because it just leaks oil right from the holes in the aluminum end. I want to do the oil filter mod and something else besides these factory oil drain lines. I know I have replaced one maybe both of these lines before and how they leak at either end but this is crazy.

New spider. MPI

Going to replace the spider. Please look at what is under the upper intake and comment. I have replaced everything, fuel pump went out at 170,000 full tune up at 165,000. The truck runs good. No codes no check engine light. I have a small stumblecat idle and on get 13MPG 10 or less towing...

1998 k1500 5.7 vortec pinging no codes

Please listen close. Is this detonation or some other valve train issue. Just tuned It did it before the tune as well. I can not hear it good in the video but it is very consistent through the whole video. New plugs, wires, billet distributor, coil, no codes.
