Cost of full brake job in Rockville, MD

Sorry about the hiatus, work and family stuff has been awful. I appreciate your offer; you have no idea how much I appreciate it. Wound up finding what I hope is a reputable place here close. Had a rear leaking wheel cylinder (Lost 8oz of fluid in the last 6 weeks in only 400 miles). They are...

Cost of full brake job in Rockville, MD

Thanks for the replies. No leaks and the fluid level hasn't changed in 2 years. I'm thinking the back brakes just aren't self adjusting anymore. Had a 1992 Silverado that did the same thing. I hate I don't have the tools and space to fix it myself. Will look into somewhere local though.

Cost of full brake job in Rockville, MD

Government has me stationed up here away from everything I'm used to and no access to all my tools. My 1998 Silverado 4x4 needs the brakes redone - progressively getting spongier and increasing in braking distance. Any idea what Pep Boys or Meneike or Midas charges to redo all 4 corners? I...

Replaced with new AC Delco fuel pump. Cranks instantly now and fuel gauge reads right. Vey pleased. About $300 in parts and tools. Beats the $800 quote from the repair shop. Took about five hours counting the trip to Autozone for a fuel line fitting wrench.

    '98 Hard to Start

Fuel pressure gauge showed I was losing pressure right after the pump shut off before cranking. Everything I read said the problem was either the fuel pressure regulator or the spider. Changed the regulator and couldn't find a leak on the spider. Still hard to start. Bought an AC Delco fuel pump...

    '98 Hard to Start

I think I can pick up a pressure gauge kit at Harbor freight. I'll try that before getting a pump.

Changed the filter but didn't help anything. Gonna buy a new AC-Delco pump and put it in myself. Anyone know if lifting the bed or dropping the tank is easier for a guy in his garage with common tools and some air tools? What is the best route? Could this be the throttle position sensor going bad?

First time posting since finding this forum here several months back. Already used the info I found here to fix my leaking firewall so maybe ya'll can help me with this problem. Bought the truck back in October; 1998 Silverado Ext cab 4x4, 88,000 miles, 350/Auto. Put the key in and the...
