impossible np243 problem

I just copied this from a past post I mentioned this in....try this I am certain it will work. I have fixed this issue with 3 of these trucks with this very same issue using this method. I dont know if this will help anyone or has been mentioned before regarding the 4 low not engaging issue...

Let me know how it woks out for you. Just last night we went to meet some friends travelling/camping near our home...they had another friend travelling with them that had a 97 Tahoe with no 4 low...until last night. Hasnt worked for 7 years and now does. He couldnt believe it actually works for...

I dont know if this will help anyone or has been mentioned before regarding the 4 low not engaging issue with the electronic transfer case but give this a try... Start the engine and when running place the trans in neutral as though you are going to engage 4 low. At this point shut the vehicle...

Thanks! We have a set of 2011 King Quad 750's and a couple of old 200cc Big Red trikes as well as a little 110. I have a thing for those old trikes...grew up with them. Damn near kill me every time I use them but they keep me on my toes lol.

Mine is Ruby Red too...probably just the light or something making it look different. The cooling system seems to have been gone through so I am covered there from what I can tell. The tranny cooler lines look like poo though, it would be in my best interest to get those replaced soon. No leaks...

Passlock issues :(

Thanks...found it. So now, I am assuming this is not something one can just swap out unless it is the identical part number? I am guessing if a new BCM is needed that GM will need it to program? I have no problem living with it but if the BCM is on its way out what else can I expect to start...
