Transmission Rebuild or Replace

Gonna sound like a ratard but...how hard to drop the tranny and rebuild? Never done anything close to it. Do I have to pull the engine? All day project? Weekend? Week? lol I have a 92 with a 5 speed and it is very particular on how it shifts. Little bit of click when going into 3rd and grinding...

92 Chevy 1500

Just picked this up a few days ago. Seems fairly solid. Needs some interior work and some exterior work. I don't know what I will do with the paint yet. I thought about Rhino Lining the whole thing. Just dont know if I will like the look.

Hey guys! Just bought a 92 Chevy 1500. Check my sig for details. It seems like a decent truck. Needs a bit of work on cosmetics. Thats what Im here for though! Came over from Tahoeyukonforum.com. Just sold a 01 Tahoe. Heres a pic of the new ride.
