    It was a personally choice haha. Decided saving money is a bit better at a younger age; when it's still possible haha. And I was thinking 350\383 only because the 350 are more common and parts are easier to find/cheaper, and 383 just to kick it up a notch.

    I'd rather not be pushing my luck, as its been very poor lately hah. I think with what you said I would just get a new radiator and fan along with a bigger fuel pump, could always add a little power (;

    I'm honestly not 100% sure either way, I know the 350 is carb'd, but I'd like to do what's best, or simpler (second time engine swap/first time rebuild). Would the stock tranny be okay with the 350 alone? I still have plenty of saving time before the 383. haha
