Is anyone else unable to edit posts?

I'm trying to add/edit content to my off road build thread but I cant edit anything (no option to edit either)

All I was able to do was reply to my thread and now I can't even delete my reply of random letters.

I've been having the same problem. I can usually edit stuff that's a few days old. But other stuff (especially suff posted before the layout changed) I can't edit.

That's just how forums work. at least for me anyways. Once a post is so old, it can't be edited except by a mod or admin. For your build thread in the offroad section, just keep it going in the posts after the ones you can't edit. Everytime I make an addition to mine, I just post a new reply. That way it's brought to the top of the list in the "new posts".

As for not being able to edit or delete your recent post, I don't know about that. It may be a bug in this new system that needs to be worked out (thy just need to change it back.. but none the less). I hope that helps. If any of this was a "well no sh*t" type of thing and I misunderstood the problem you're having, I'm sorry lol.

Thanks for the reply. I think something was messed up with not being able to edit the recent post(which seems to be fixed).

And then the fact that I was able to edit my old posts and did so often but then all of a sudden I couldn't. So I'm not sure how old a post has to be before it's un-editable. At any rate I've got the build thread updated with a new post so all is good again. Thanks again.

Forum settings like this keep helpful content available to the members should somebody get pissy and decide to edit or delete posts before they bail out, just for spite.
Usually it's a "in the heat of the moment" decision that is irreversible should they change their mind about it later, and find out it can't be fixed.
