    Part Number: 81668 Just upgraded to their "best" ones (Part Number: G63489) to see if they were any better... But same crappy bushings and washers came with it, that's why I got the grade 8 hardened ones to reenforce it.. 97 GMC C1500 L31, M30, G80, GT4

    No lift on the truck yet.. Will be soon, that's why I went with autozone brand shocks instead of forking the money over for some Bilsteins when I'm going to need new ones when I lift it anyway.. 97 GMC C1500 L31, M30, G80, GT4

    The instruction sheet that came with the shocks said to tighten the nut down until right as the bushing starts to bulge.. Ok done.. two days later I see that the nut has punched straight threw the top washer and the bushing has all but disintegrated.. Causing the nut and stud to go through...

    Scratch the question bout the spindles. I measured from the shaft to the top where the ball joint goes. On the OE one it's about 7in and on the lift ones about 10in. So ya they are three inch lift spindles. 97 GMC C1500 L31, M30, G80, GT4

    answer to any 4l60e trouble

    So when I drive for extended periods of time (30min+) mostly freeway.. when i start up from a stop it likes to slam into 2nd gear.. eventually the check engine light comes on with a P1870 code.. from what i reading the side effect of the p1870 causes the rough gear change, and to fix the p1870...

    can anyone identify the maker of this spindle? i bought it off Craigslist (probably not the best idea in hindsight) and was wondering if i could get more info on it... the guy claimed it was a 5in lift kit for a 88-98 chevy/gmc 2WD. im thinkin its more like a 3in
