Honestly I would call the dealer and give them your vin number and they can tell you the exact part number, I’m always weary about interchangeable part numbers.
If it is custom someone did a really good job, cause when I took it down to take the wood off and reupholster it, it looked like it came from a factory.
Like the post says, has anyone ever seen a roof console like this. I bought this truck around 8 years ago and this is the console that came with it, I’ve search years online and in scrap yards but I’ve never seen one like it. It originally had wood trim, but I removed it and carpeted it instead.
Yeah that’s my plan, would rather get there slow instead of wrecking fast. Like everyone said I’m gonna get a weight distribution hitch, as well as make sure the tow vehicle is in top not condition. And definitely make sure the trailer brakes are in working order.
Aside from not driving like an ******* and taking my time towing, I’m hoping anyone can give more suggestions on what I can do to make it as safe as possible.
The picture of the trailer in question(not my vehicles in the pic). My 08 suburban has a 6.0 stroker motor that was built for it after the original 5.3 grenaded. I’m not concerned about be over the legal weight limit cause I’ll be sure to stay within it. The trailer has brakes. I’m not...

I have a question, not sure which thread to post in, but I’m currently building a 97 k1500 on 1 ton axles and 44’s. Not really wanting to drive this truck long distances when tire cost almost 5k a set, I currently own a 2008 suburban 1500 and wondering what anyone’s opinions are on being able to...

Not sure if posting in the proper spot but I’m curious if anyone has some suggestions on headlights. Got a 97 k1500 that is currently in the process of being solid axle swapped and it is going to be lifted much taller than expected, was originally planned to be on 38’s but that has changed to...
