Bed bolts

I would think that would be way better. Doubt it would be terribly hard, just make the holes/reinforce and get longer bolts. That's one thing ford did right is their bed bolts. Almost like they knew people would be ripping them off to replace the rusted fenderwells.

I think you'd have to either weld a new nut there, or you can buy replacement crossmembers that have the bolt in them. Or try junkyards/see if anyone is parting on and would sell the crossmember.

Draggin is correct, they're M12 bolts. Home depot has them. I can't say the stock length though.

Grandpa's 1995 C1500 Reborn

We've had them in all the family's vehicles (Except dad's old 6.2) since 2002. They're awesome for cold real cold days, or even if you want to go into a store. Lock the truck, start it up, and it'll stay warm and locked. With ours if you hit the brake without the key in it'll automatically shut...

1998 K1500 Build

If you're thinking about a roof rack on the cap/topper, I'd go for it. My 800 has one thats removable, and its awesome. But personally I'd prefer a basket over the rack, because the rack lends itself more towards snowboards/kayaks/ladders than a tire.

1994 3/4 ton Ls swapped... Budget build!

I'll be the first one to say I'm typically not a huge fan of lowered trucks. But I love this truck! Can't wait to see more progress.

Manual to electric transfercase swap?

Hey guys! I'm looking at buying a transmission from a buddy. Still not sure if the deal is going through. Either way, if I get his he's going to give me his manual transfer case also. I currently have push button. What would it take to switch from electric to manual? obviously I'd need to cut...
