Well guys i finally finished the swap on my 98 c1500 5.0 to 5.7 but im having an issue with it. When bought the 5.7 vortec i also got the pcm that goes with that motor as well but when i took the 5.0 pcm and put the 5.7 pcm in after the swap it did crank but did not turn over. So what i did was...

IF I BUY AN 5.7 ECM FROM THE SAME PLACE I BOUGHT MY ECM FOR MY 5.0 THAT WOULD ALSO BE FINE TOO RIGHT. ALSO I CALLED BLACK BEASR TUNING THEY SAID I CAN SEND THEM THE 5.0 AND THEY CAN TUNE FOR THE 5.7. WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK.

I used hopkins 7 pin and 4pin harness just cut the end off the donkey ***** u got and the other end of the harness and wire it together and boom done but where would u mount for your truck and whats that on the side of the hitch you got there.
I just did this to mine like a week ago i love it too. It looks awesome and clean too really easy. It was like 28bucks for the harness and comes with bracket and hardware. Used self tapping screws by the way.
HAS ONE ADDED A USB PORT ON THERE BACK OF THE CENTER CONSOLE FOR PEOPLE TO USE WHEN SEATING BACK THERE. I WAS THINKING OF PUTTING ONE IN MINE BUT DONT KNOW WHERE TO BEGIN. ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEAS OR PICS ON HOW WOULD BE GREAT.
