This last weekend I did my steering with a whole new gear box... This weekend I am going to try and seal the yoke hole as mentioned. If any of you tranny guys have a pic I would appreciate it... If not I will take one.- scmsltn

Torsion Bar / Lift Key answer thread
Are bars all the same size on regular cab and extended cabs? Are they universal for 88-98 and on all makes (yukons, suburbans, etc) Does anyone have a pic of 1500, 2500, and 3500 bars next to one another to see the difference?- scmsltn

Just changed steering gear box...
It took me about 3 hours taking my time. That gear box is pretty heavy working by myself sucked...it would be easier with two people. I did not need to change my pitman arm because it was new. Here are some interesting things I did. - I didn't have a wrench big enough to get the top gear box...- scmsltn

Rear Wheel Alignment... solid axle... wtf?
Today I was having an alignment done at Tires Plus her in Reno, NV...I got a call saying they wanted an hour of labor to align the rear. They said trucks with blocks cause them to not be correct. I don't know if it is true, but I said "no" since I want to upgrade to 3/4 ton leaf springs to...- scmsltn

^^^ So are you saying the bottom of the yokes themselves leak? Or the where the yolk ends is uneven so the rtv tries to seal the imperfection?- scmsltn
