Bumper Brackets are confusing...
So, I have a 1988 C1500 with an odd bumper on it. Its definately an aftermarket bumper, but it looks like it uses the factory bolt locations. I want to replace this bumper with a OEM bumper, so I bought a bumper and these brackets, but I can't make out exactly how these brackets are supposed to... -

Steering is overboosted...
No typo. It's an '88 Model. I also suspect the gearbox, since the problem didn't start until it was replaced, however, I was hoping there was some sort of adjustment for this.- Rageman

Steering is overboosted...
I have a 1988 C1500 that steers WAY too easy. So easy, in fact, that if I'm on a freeway, any minor movement of the steering wheel could be my last. The problem started around the time I replaced the gear box, so I assume that's my problem, but is there a way to adjust that box? Or can this...- Rageman

Water leaking onto passenger side floorboard.
OK. Bit of an update here. As it turns out, that didn't fix the problem. To be honest, I think it was leaking, and it fixed one leak, but another leak continued. The heater core gasket has gone bad-ish..and water was coming out the tip of the A/C drain, rolling back towards the firewall, and...- Rageman

Water leaking onto passenger side floorboard.
Issue fixed. It was the HVAC intake. While i was in there, I noticed that the RTV up against the firewall (on the inside cowl area) was also deteriorated, so I re-did that as well. Whichever it was, it's now fixed. Thanks for the helps. Reps. It seems I'm unable to rep you for whatever reason...- Rageman

Was your issue fixed by repairing the HVAC vent under the cowl? Silicone around the box, and silicon the cap?- Rageman
