I heard this vintage were one of worst flowing heads, vortec heads are better, and they make Intake for these

1997 5.7 swap into 1989 5.7

wrecked bodies, knocking engines. I want to put the two trucks (4x4) into one good truck. What do I have to do to swap 5.7 vortec into the 89 TBI BODY

97 to 89 K1500 swap

i have 89 k1500 that has blown motor and recently wrecked 1997 k2500. Anyone know what it would take to swap out engine/ecm to run in the 1989? Any help would be appreciated. I did some research, looks transmission is interchangeable. But haven't found any other information as to what else...
