4L80E questions and reliabilty when towing

im looking to get a 96 up 454 3500 crew cab dually 4x4 and all ive found have the 4l80e and im wondering can i swap a 5 speed in if it goes or can the auto be a good trans, the most i ever tow is my f350 mud truck wich is around 6800.

i found a touch screen that i will be removing the housing on and fiting in there for gps and radio control, im installing a remote gps system with transceiver under the seat, but people can put what they want there, i was thinking a custom metal sheet with gauges or switches or both

new steering wheel and Denali rear view mirror

got to the junk yard yesterday and got a denali rear view mirror and installed it, all functions are working and hooked up. smaller steering wheel out of a early 90s celebrity, great wheel.

No the car seat didn't, lol but yes it came out of a truck just like mine and bolted in perfect, I need a smaller steering wheel now but not sure what type to use, but a lot more comfortable than oem
