HELP!! can't lock doors

Turned out the rod in the driver door from the outer handle to the latch came from a passenger door so I put it in a vise and reversed all the bends and on the passenger side the rod from the lock pawl to the latch was missing so now both doors lock and unlock I just have to tinker with the rod...

Mine just have the metal clips that the rods pop into, I'm about to order the 4 rods from LMC and try that

What do you mean rod ends? And I have electric locks but they don't work the power lock also moves freely

Well I tried the brake cleaner and lithium grease with it together , no luck so I went ahead and took it all the way out, cleaned it thoroughly and reassembled it still no luck, rods are all on correctly, nothing is obstructed so now I'm kind of stumped

I haven't checked that rod, but I will tmrw, when I first got the truck the driver door couldn't be opened from the inside or the outside, I was able to get the panel off and spray the latch mechanism with lithium grease and it opened, could this same latch mechanism be the coulprit?

Removing Charcoal Canister

i got rid of mine and put a fuel filter on the end of the line to keep trash out without capping it off , no pressure when i take off the gas cap and no fumes

HARD WARM START?!?!?!?

yeah, sorry for not being clear on that. it does w/o engine running, i put together a bypass with a 1/16 hole for the return to see if that helps im going to try tomorrow

yeah, gas pumps through when you pull the throttle, truck runs and drives just fine once started
