the max a/c setting just recirculates the air while the air conditioning is on. You would have the same effect if you had the a/c on and you manually set the climate control to recirculate the air. Its not actually going any faster, it just makes more noise because it is sucking air from...
Hell ya it should, thats what im planning on doing. Your gonna need something like this in order for it to fit correctly. http://www.ebay.com/itm/130596603750?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649
I havnt taken any measurements yet, but I know for sure you will need to change the...
I cranked my torsion bars up 1 and 1/2 inches and have add a leaves for the rear sitting next to my toolbox. I think its the better option to go because my springs are starting to sag slightly, and each spring is "rated" for an extra 250 lbs. It should give me the lift I want and give my leaf...

"As of October 1, 2011, the production of Dick Cepek products has come to an end. There is ZERO inventory available. This item is no longer available for purchase. If you would like a recommendation on an alternative...
This axle is out of a 2008 2500HD Duramax 2WD, and if I'm not mistaken it is a 14 bolt FF axle. Can I swap it in place of my 10 bolt on my Suburban? Id be nice because it has disk brakes! What do I do about the U bolts? Im pretty sure I can get a new pinion yolk and u joint to make it fit my...
If you have autotrac the front drive shaft should be spinning while your moving. When your using autotrac thats how it senses when your rear end is slipping, so it would need to spin in 2wd. Not sure if it still spins in 2wd because it has automatic locking hubs as opposed to manual ones though..
Do your turn signals look like this?
Also do you have led bulbs for your taillights? If thats the case, you might have too many led's for your flasher because I know mine only supports so many. You could probably add a resistor to the wire powering your turn signals, that should fix your problem.
One other question. I went to the junkyard the other day and pulled the overhead console out of a blazer. I had read something about being able to hook up the mileage computer so it can calculate your fuel economy, does anybody know how to do this? Or can anybody point me out to a thread that...
I was looking around but I couldnt find any answers. I have a 1998 GMC K1500 Suburban and I have a rear heater coil/AC and a blower. The coolant and A/C lines run along the inside of the frame and come out into the truck right next to the rear wheel well. If I get a body lift will I need to...
So last weekend I decided I'd crank my torsion bars up about an inch and take in for an alignment. I took it into a local brakes plus because I have heard good things about them and they have a good deal on alignments. They told me that all of my ball joints are shot and they look like the...
So I pulled off my dash panel to look at doing some wiring, and I found three harnesses taped up and tucked away behind my instrument cluster. I have a 1998 GMC Suburban with the barn doors so I dont have any switches to the right of my instrument cluster. My question is where do these wiring...
I found what I needed.

IMPORTANT: The sensor resistance is model dependent and varies with speed from a minimum of 0.5 volts AC at 100 RPM to more than 100 volts AC at 8000 RPM.
The vehicle speed sensor (or transmission output speed sensor) controls shift points and calculates...
I tried searching around a little bit but I couldnt find anything that was similar to what I needed. Does anyone know what the values from the vehicle speed sensor should be? Are there a certain amount of pulses for 1 MPH and the pulses just multiply the faster you get? Or is it a non linear...
Just after driving down this small hill I decided to try and drive up it. There was just under a foot of snow on the ground at the time. The front wheels almost cleared the top of the hill... but didnt haha. Backed down only to have my hitch go through a layer of older pavement. After 35...
