Just waiting on someone to pinpoint the issue with my Duramax before I tear into a perfectly good driver, the 88 still has the TBI 350 in it and I am driving it until my POS diesel is fixed. Kills me looking at the LS motor sitting on a pallet in the shop..........

Thank you!!! That is about what I was figuring, Though I am using the ECM out of the 6.0 truck only because I already lisenced it with my Flash Scanner, I will just flash it with the 03 OS and then make the changes to it. Same ECM just me being cheap and wanting to save the $125. The turbo...

Cool Thanks for the info man!! I also can get a harness from an 03 1500 2wd ( the truck we took the trans out of) will that harness be better in my application? I was planning on using the stock manifolds for now, if I ever decide to change heads I will do long tubes, but if anything it will get...

Thanks!!!! I plan to, I hope the 6.0 is as fun as I think its going to be??? I will keep updating with progress once we start. I plan to swap everything over from the 02 so I should need to do any PCM mods just going to have the 02 ECM and harness in my 88, few places that can modify my stock...

Is the 80 ok in my application??? I have been told it is a heavier duty trans and will steal power, kinda like a TH350 vs. a TH400, 400 is stronger but always seems to rob more power than the 350........

Really?? Even with a stock 6.0? My truck is alot lighter than say a 99+ 1500, I planned on a small stall and a Trans Go shift kit and a tune with EFI. I will look into the 4L65E spec.

Any suggestions or ideas are welcome, the plan is to keep it simple and still fun to drive. I'd like to have a mid to low 12 second daily driver if possible???? My Duramax is a mid to low 12 second ride so I'm kind of used to it by now....
