Well I had to drill the bottom hinge so those are definitely round. The top ones were worn a bit but I really didn't think it was that bad. I still had to tap them into place. I do think the hinge is pulling away on the top one though
They look like original. For sure not bolted. I ended up using a bushing on the cab and door itself on lower hinge. I did have drill the hinges a bit. But every bushing used was GM. Its all together and looks snug but the door still droops a wee bit. The striker and latch look pretty beat but if...
I did end up getting them from GM. They still didn't fit on the bottom hinge. Drilled out the top one to make it fit, waiting for my drill to charge to drill the bottom
Went to replace the door pins and bushings on my front drivers door. Got everything apart and cleaned up. Popped the bushing in the top hinge no problem. Went to the bottom and neither bushing fits on top or bottom of the lower hinge. And just so I know I'm not crazy I actually checked the...
Turns out my dumbass forgot the knock sensor when I put everything back together. Theres a way to bypass the fuel cut off on the oil pressure switch and my guess is one of the POs did it at some point cause she runs like a gem now
Theres nothing to fix. If anything my way is better. I have no interest in re enabling Chevy's crappy gauge. So as I said I was hoping there was a bypass for the oil pressure sender. Which apparently there is according to this http://www.chevytalk.org/fusionbb/showtopic.php?tid/234210/
So I...
Don't do true duals unless your engine is built. Sounds like junk. Cats are up to you assuming you don't have to deal with emissions. All they really do is make the exhaust smell a bit less harsh and help mpg a bit
Just because I don't want to follow your specific advice does not make me a know it all. Theres usually another way to do something. Such as the idler pulley...I'd still be messing around trying to get it to line up if I did things your way, instead I thought about it for a bit and just took it...
