    Id do full tune up,plugs,wires,etc then replace that air filter with something better flowing like a afe/k&n,it looks the same air filter I had on my c2500.Also Id clean the throttle body.Not sure what kind of exhaust system they have but due to its size probably has a muffler the size of a 275...

    Well obviously its something you messed during the install,so just go over everything you did,Also scan it even if you don't have a ses light on.You could of easily but a adapter to extend the o2 wires.

    Replace the coolant sensor.If it runs good cold I doubt its the timing.

    Well anyway you look at it the shorties are 100% better then the manifolds,i noticed a difference on my tbi with the shorties.I can only imagine the gain with the longtubes.

    I don't think the intake would be worth porting or buy aftermarket on a stock 5.3L,after headers,cam then I would do the intake and no doubt would gain a good 15+hp.

    I don't understand why a flowmaster 10 would be louder then the cherry bomb extreme when internal they are the same.Personally id run a straight through muffler like a dynomax bullet.

    I would check the timing like stated,also check for vaccum leaks.If you didn't already I would re torque the intake manifold bolts

    I agree with great white the magnaflow is a great cat,helped my 300k tbi get there emission inspection.
