    95 extended cab seat wire.

hmmm I’ve never paid attention to the bucket seat trucks. Next time I go to the yard I can look for one for you. Not sure when I’ll have a chance.

Ground cable on filler neck is torn

They are riveted to the filler neck. If it’s ancient you’d probably be able to pry it off and bolt a new one on. Get a bigger one and put electrical grease on both fastening ends.

Ahh I understand now. That is a good idea. I will do that once I get the truck back. Currently it’s secured with loc tite.

    I love plastic engine parts!

Holley sells an aluminum cover also, if that is the route you go.

Reverse Level 1996 GMC sierra INFO NEEDED

Welcome to the forum! The reverse level isn’t a bad option. It’s certainly better than maxing your keys out to obtain the same leveled look. This alone would be entirely doable. However if you want to run 285s up front you would more than likely need to crank the keys to be able do...

    1999 C3500 CC DRW Build

Buddy, you and I are in the same boat. I am having the same issue with my ‘95. We even did the same steps! Bad ABS module, replaced with combination valve from JB7 equipped ‘94 K2500. In the rear I replaced both wheel cylinders, new shoes, all new hardware, all adjusted to spec. Up front I’ve...

    Mad Customs

I’ve never seen an 8° shim. I’m sure one could easily be made or sourced locally though. Enjoying the updates!

The shaft is installed in the correct orientation. In another thread I read that the set screw should be oriented 180° opposite of that flat spot. If I have it oriented on the flat spot then the steering wheel is not straight when the gear box is clocked straight. These little details can be...

I’m willing to hear them out before I start the warranty process. They also said they won’t warranty a box with zero miles on it. I just verified my fitment of everything. With the steering wheel straight the pitman and idler are parallel to the frame. As reference I went and checked my ‘92...

    3/4 Ton of fun - ‘95 Sierra

At the steering wheel it is only a very small amount to get it to clunk. The tech thought it was in the column but it is not. I took the steering shaft off of the upper shaft and was able to reproduce the sound. I called their tech support and they told me to get it aligned and drive it then...

Borgeson said it was normal and that would be the case when the vehicle wasn’t running. So I sent them another video of the truck running and reached down and turned the shaft and showed them the slop in it. We will see what they have to say.

What are the odds on this build that my Borgeson box is out of spec already. 0 miles and I’ve got a lot of shaft play already. Edit: I think it initially felt a lot better and I didn’t catch this because I didn’t have any weight on the steering components.

    TBI Rebuild Services

Final update: received the TBI base back from Sean today. He put in another set of bushings, new blades, and shaft. It is night and day better. No binding whatsoever. I’m thankful that he was willing to work with me because by the time I sent it back to him I was out of the warranty period.

I appreciate that too. That truck is my favorite two tone color. Giving me some great ideas!

Yeah I’ve looked at those before. They are really cool. I’m not quite low enough yet for them.
