    Body lift question

Well, I know the guy on the jeep site talks about measuring the thickness of the puck every 5-10 pounds of torque. He has ALOT of torque on that puck. Quite possibly more than realistic. I might have to pick up a hockey puck sometime and see how much torque it takes to get it that far...

    Body lift question

Wow, I guess I really ruffled some feathers. Wasnt my intention. Was just asking for some proof. Thanks Swims for the pick, its now bookmarked. By the way, no one picking any fights or bashing anyone, just asking questions. Isn't that the reason for this type of forum? Education and...

    Body lift question

Sorry, but I still dont see a point that you have made. You made a statement that hockey pucks are dangerous, but yet you have no proof to back it up. "Just heard all the tales", once again, just tales, no evidence. Body lifts in general will increase the leverage on the body mount bolts...

    Body lift question

Easy there Swims. I never said the body lift blocks were poly, please re-read my post. Do you really think that Performance Accessories really spends a ton of money testing body lift blocks? I don't know, just asking. Its just that I have been an avid off-roader for about 12 years now and...

    Body lift question

Just curious, whats so bad about hockey pucks? Very hard rubber, harder than polyurethane, which is what new body mount bushings are made from. Would think that would make for a bit better ride than hard plastic blocks. Just asking. Oh yea....flame suit on.

    97 remote starter install.

Going to tackle this by this weekend. Was going to try to wait until we got a warmer day and one a bit dryer, but I have a dry garage to give it a shot. I dont remember what the brand name is, bought it about 8 years ago. I think it starts with a U. Anyways, it seems to be straight forward...

    Random misfire....P0300

Update: The change went pretty easy. However, when I started it back up after the change out it ran for about 10 seconds and reved up and died.....had a moment of dumbassness, re-attached the brake booster hose and it ran much better. Not great, but better. Seemed like I had a vacuum leak...

    Random misfire....P0300

I don't think that its the hose because it doesn't happen all the time. Drove it about 250 miles this weekend and it happend one time. I will however check it out later this morning just to make sure. I did order the injector spider from amazon along with an intake gasket kit this morning for...

    Random misfire....P0300

Can I reuse the same mounting bracket that I have or do I have to order one to fit the new injector set up? Thanks.

    Random misfire....P0300

Did a search, read as many pages that I could, found no reference to a possible answer to my question. Rockauto.com has a couple of listings for the spider injector setup. However, one has 5 mm injector black tubing, and another one has the 6.5 mm injector white tubing. Which one should I...

    The Stupid Lift Questions Thread

Local fastenal only had 3 of the m12 x 180mm, and would transfer more in, but they would be around $8-9 apiece. Found Allen's Fasteners online, got all the bolts, washers, and nuts shipped for $60, which included some extra ones.

    The Stupid Lift Questions Thread

Wow, some folks just don't get it. For those who are in the know, I already have the 3" blocks from another truck, where would I find the M12 x 180mm and M12 x 110mm bolts? Thanks.

    Tutorial: 3" Body Lift

Nice write up, lots of info. Doesn't seem to be any kind of consistency for the need of a steering shaft extender or not. Thanks.
