Happy thanksgiving . Update on the 14 bolt is still about the same. So far I got the rotors, calipers, pads, new brake lines. Next thing will be taking the 10 bolt out and moving the spring perches on the 14 bolt.
Also decided get the crew cab out (not related to the build) to throw on some...
Both look really great. To get a 4in lift with 47in springs that would be like buying the stock spring with a 1in block? Or is it a bad idea for any kind of block to be on your front axle? Does it ride good with one leaf out the pack?
Second reply to another question. Let’s say I choose the 47in spring kit what would be my minimum height to go down to 35s and look good. I have my 3in body, so do you think a 3in kit with 0in lift springs would be enough? It’s kinda funny that I spent a lot to sit tall on 40s and 14 wides to...
Thanks man for your input. It’s been a lot to think about to picture in my head. Lately I been leaning towards the 47s and I’m not gonna stay at my current heights. I been really liking the idea going down to 35s-37s from the 40s and a more functional look. So with the bigger 14 bolt bigger than...
Picked up the 8 lug rims I need and the tires are a bonus. Tires are some wore out 35in toyos and rims are factory dodge 17s. I test fitted them and they fit both the 14 bolt and d60. But I think the rim wasn’t sitting too flat against the d60 hubs. Didn’t tighten them down with lug yet. Waiting...
I do have a question for my 14 bolt rear. I know it’s bigger in dimensions and will that make a big difference in needing the rear driveshaft shortened a little or will it be fine? Also what’s better changing the yoke to keep the stock u-joint, or change the u- joint to a conversion u-joint to...
New up date on the sas build, nothing much has change. We just now getting done with harvest this year and I will get back on the sas project. So far I have found some 8 lug rims and bald 35s to just give me something to put with the front and rear axles on. There 8 lugs and holding air for $350...
