The green indicator for the DRLs isn't lighting up on our Suburban but the DRLs are functioning just fine. Is this a simple bulb swap or is it soldered to the cluster board?
We noticed that one of the HVAC doors seems to be in constant movement when the truck is on. My dad says that it will go from recirculate to fresh air on it's own, so I guess it's the recirculate door. Anyone know how to diagnose this further or of a fix?
I'm looking at lowering a '99 Suburban about 3" front and rear, upgrading the sway bars and redoing the brakes and steering to make sure it's all good.
I'm thinking Belltech's 2500 spindles for 2"-3" up front and their 5962 leaf springs out back for 3" of drop, paired with their 9524 Street...
Thanks for the explanation. I'll have to check the fluid level ASAP.

The "old" truck being hauled away. :frown:
The "new" truck right after we made the deal.
My father got a "new" '99 Suburban K1500 LT with 170K miles on it a couple of weeks ago. I noticed after we got it home, which was a 200 mile drive, that it was running extremely cool. We checked the fuel economy and it was bad, 14MPG pretty much all highway, so I think it was running in open...
Two weeks ago my father got his first 4WD vehicle ever, a '99 Suburban K1500 LT with basically every option and 170K miles. The day after he got it I noticed a clickity-clack coming from what I thought was the front-end. Tonight I took it for a drive and listened to the noise a bit more and I...
Does anyone know what the impedance ratings are for the speakers in a '99 Suburban LT (8-speaker)? I know the front tweeters are 4-ohm but I'm unsure about the front mid-bass, rear door and rear roof speakers.
