On my truck I did 2 1/2" pipe from manifold to cats, into the duel flow master 44's then finished 3 inch tips, I noticed some gains in mpg and power. I agree with others that 3 inch is a little much for a stock 5.7 Imo
Hmm thanks alot guys, sounds like duplicolor spray on is the way to go. Cant decide if i should remove the trim just above the rocker panels, might look weird with it on and the bedliner with it.
Does anyone have any experience with this? i want to put rock guard spray on stuff on my rocker panels because my new tires kick up lots of rocks with the offset rims. I read alot of guys just buy the 3m spray on stuff and works good. Can someone give me some pointers on how to do this the right...
I have a 98 GMC z71, been doing a few mods such as smoking tailights, smoked signal lights, painted gmc emblems. I was wondering how the trim would look around the body and wheel wells would look painted black or color matched? I was also thinking of putting box liner or rock guard on the rocker...
Seen it before man, get enough for some decent used tires to get you through until you save some cash. The less you have to take out for a loan the better, banks are good at taking your money haha
