I don't like either but the 7.3 has a well-earned reputation for reliability, where the 6.5 has a well-earned reputation as a boat anchor - providing your particular failure isn't cracks in the main webbing of the block, making it likely unsuitable even as an anchor.

Wow. that guy is never gonna sell that thing.. if he does the buyer is really really really really really really stupid. sure its clean as hell with lower miles but no one in their right mind would pay anything close to that. Even if it was a 4x4 454 5 speed he still wouldnt even come close in my mind.
God I love that truck but it needs a couple things.
(1) NV4500
(2) brand new, factory, 95+ grey interior
(3) an owner who's not insane
