G80/locker help.

Well this is my first thread so if I'm posting in the wrong spot sorry. I just bought a z71 with a open gu6 diff. I can't find any g80 diffs for sale around me and the junk yards don't have any. Is there a locker for the 10 bolt for around $300? Or if you guys can think of any where to get a g80. All I can find are youkon and detroit locker but they are $500 plus.

You can probably find a lunchbox locker in the 2-300 range. Maybe someting like a yukon.

You should consider yourself lucky to not have a g80. There is a reason that they have the nickname of gov-bomb. The 10 bolt version is simply crap.

14 bolt all day, get rid of the 10 bolt if you can and run a 14 with the option of g80 and the matching gear ratio.

Yup, put your 10b pinion yoke on it, direct bolt in.

Huh ok. I thought 14 bolts where 8 lug.
