that thing is too quite!!just kidding sounds good,I would just run high flows just to pass inspection

It's too quiet, but the cops don't like it. A crossover would help alot though. I'm tired of that empty tin can sound though. It's either getting dynomax bullets or ultraflows. Looking for that deep aggressive tone.

Am I would do high flows, but dummies are cheaper and I ain't gotta worry about stopping up. Every vehicle I've owned, the converters have gotten stopped up over time.

When my Toyota was down, I drove my moms jeep to work and back. 2007 grand Cherokee 3.7 v6

It had 3 converters. One on each exhaust manifold and one center cat on the crossover. Drivers side broke apart and stopped up the center. It only had 34k miles.

Same thing happened on my 91 thunderbird. 347 stroker 2 high flows off of each manifold. Passenger side broke off and stopped up the resonator.

Catalytic converters are the devil.
That sounds great I was thinking on mine a dual in dual out 40 series delta flow

The 40 delta flow is one of my favorites. I thought about switching to it, but then I fell in love with the dynomax mufflers.

Here in Louisiana if it's modified in any way other than stock it's illegal regardless of how loud it is. Cops here only go after people who rack em off. I have 2 modified exhaust tickets:D

If you have issues causing the engine to run rich, this will cause converters to fail prematurely. Properly functioning converters are almost negligible for power loss compared to straight pipe and in some cases will add a scavenging effect depending on how close they are located to the manifolds / headers.

A properly placed h or x pipe crossover will trump any scavaging created by a cat.

An H or X pipe will allow one bank to communicate pressure pulses to the other, and will also increase scavenging. The effect of a larger converter or a muffler, especially right after the header collector can work like an expansion chamber in a 2 stroke, and greatly increase cylinder scavenging.

Too much scavenging can act like a camshaft with too much exhaust duration though, and pull part of the fresh intake charge out during overlap. There is a whole science in exhaust design.

right now im running a high flow cats from flowmaster, they were a direct bolt on for the duel set up. i removed the stock cats at 184,000 miles. wish i would have taken pics of the stock and the high flows cause the difference was crazy. the ones from flowmaster was mandrel bent and they flow way better than stock! im also running a dual in dual out flowmaster super 40 and the thing sounds like a beast! i have it ran right in front of the rear axle with down turn tips and it sounds awesome!!! soon i will be running headers possibly longtubes which means this system will go away!

I have a 1994 k1500 suburban so if i take my cats off i will have no check engine lights thrown but i also have headers and want to know what the best muffler would be so i dont warp my valves with straights
